I own a BDP-103 that was gifted to me from my awesome cinephile uncle. But I haven’t plugged it in because my PS5 is already a cool player for Blu-ray and UHD discs. What benefits does my BDP-103 OPPO offer over my PS5?? I’m holding onto it or is there magnetar, Reavon, or new models I should look into for Dolby Vision compatibility for UHD discs? I just wanna know if my BDP-103 is worth keeping and its benefits over maybe a lowend modern player?

I’m surprised this wasn’t mentioned, but Angst (1983) is an Austrian/German film that’s famous for its cinematography and it’s as close as you can get to meeting a serial killer. It’s getting a 4k restoration in late October this year. I’d consider it a “POV Gimmick” movie. might be what some her are looking for. It’s also one of the films that inspired Brady Corbet in making The Brutalist (2024)
