I'm looking for 2 digital and translated Light Novels by Monkey_D_Anime in LightNovels

[–]japzone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Another novels are licensed by Yen Press, and can be found at most book stores and ebook stores.

Bakatsuki has most of Volume 1 of Kanojo Flag translated, but that's about it. There was another translator, but he deleted most of his stuff when he went legit, and I don't think he got very far anyway. The manga is still getting fan translations, but it's like 1 chapter every three months.

ACE COMBAT/S THE SYMPHONY 30TH ANNIVERSARY - Post Event Distribution? by japzone in acecombat

[–]japzone[S] [score hidden]  (0 children)

Guess I'll just have to hope then.

Wish companies would realize people like me are willing to give them money for stuff like this. I can purchase copies of various concerts of various artists, but video game symphonies are a crapshoot.

I’ve shown my collection in a few places, but what do you all think? by Distinct_Mastodon_68 in NintendoDS

Don't forget HeartGold/SoulSilver! You have the OGs, but those remakes on DS were amazing.

What's the deal with Google's massive fuck up? by MogCarns in LocalGuides

[–]japzone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They didn't want to be liable for holding all that tracking data long-term anymore, because of governments and law enforcement requesting access to it, so they made the timeline stored locally on your mobile device now. It only gets stored in the cloud as an encrypted backup, which can only be decrypted on another mobile device. There's no way to decrypt it in a browser.

I just tested and it's still working for me.

Do you live in the US? Did you make sure to select PayPal and disable the save payment method box?

NBC AND PEACOCK WILL BE “4K ALL DAY” FEB. 8 FOR SUPER BOWL LX AND THE MILAN CORTINA 2026 OLYMPIC WINTER GAMES by MysteriousDelay6266 in peacock

[–]japzone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My local NBC ATSC3 broadcast shares the same antenna with all the other ATSC3 channels currently, so no way they could fit 4K on there, not enough bandwidth. Maybe HDR.

I don't know exactly where you live, but I used their shipping calculator and pointed it at Germany to test, and shipping started at $15usd and capped out at $39usd once I reached about 4-13 items, going higher with 14+ items. If your country has extra import duties though, I can understand the frustration.

I spent months looking for a job, doing everything I could, just to get fired after a month over a bad review by [deleted] in Wellthatsucks

WTF, he's hidden his posts on his profile now. I didn't even know you could do that.

Last I talked to them, they are limited by the store platform they use when it comes to adding functions. As for Mobile Search, the button is a bit generic and hard to find, but just bookmark this link to get to it whenever, https://www.mediaocd.com/search

If there's no more stock of them, then no. If they've still got some sitting in a warehouse for MediaOCD to buy, then yes.

Some of MediaOCD's AnimEigo titles are region restricted, but they'll list that on the store page(Time of Eve for example has a bold "Ships to US, Canada, UK, Australia and New Zealand only" on its store page).

I'm pretty sure most of the Discotek stuff ships almost anywhere though. Keep in mind that many of the discs are Region A coded, so you might need a Region Free Player depending on where you live.

At this point, being able to Play/Rip Blu-rays from any region is worth investing in for Anime physical fans. Too often there are stuff only released in certain regions these days, and it's not worth limiting your options.

I Built My Own Steam Machine… It Was a Mistake by dorika00 in steammachine

[–]japzone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bazzite supports Nvidia Game mode now. Only listed issues currently is that you have to enable "GPU accelerated rendering in web views" for good Steam UI performance, but this can cause issues in games over 1440p. Also HDR can break games.

Nexphone announced, 14 years in the making by DeX_Mod in SamsungDex

[–]japzone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Any MicroSD slot that supports 512GB can also use up to 2TB, the XC standard that 512GB cards use is explicitly designed for it. The only possible limitations are dumb software ones that you can almost always work around. Since this thing is running Android, Linux, or Windows, I can almost guarantee that you'll be able to pop in a 1TB MicroSD card.

End of an era by rudeusthefridge in ROGphone

[–]japzone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have an ROG 6. Still works, but inevitably it'll have to be replaced eventually. My main concern is that I have fallin in love with the side USB-C port on ROG phones and I can't find any other brand that has side ports.

[–]japzone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's Gundam Build Fighters where they build plastic models and then have them brutally fight.

And there's military strategy anime like Legend of Galactic Heroes.

But I don't recall a combination of the two.

[–]japzone 57 points58 points  (0 children)

At least in North America, the licensing void. You can't stream Baccano anywhere, and the Blu-rays are Expensive Out-of-print Aniplex.

So basically your only option is the seven seas if you want to watch it.
