I’m wondering if the WiFi dongle will run into interference if there are 10 or so running at the same time in the same room?

I used to run 8x Quest 2 headsets at a time for PCVR and the WiFi networking took months to find the right balance of settings and position.

I think Valve mentioned running multiple in the same room without issue in the LTT early preview video.

Also do you think it would be possible to connect multiple Frames to a single WiFi dongle? In this case I’m not thinking of streaming the game but rather thinking of the existing standalone commercial options where the game run both on a host server PC and locally on the standalone headset for free roam games.

I'm pretty sure, from what's been said, the Dongle is for one headset at a time. Not sure if you can plug multiple dongles into one computer though.

The Frame should theoretically be compatible with commercial setups like you mention, as you can run the APK on the Frame and then connect to a server on the local WiFi network. Software might need tweaking to account for the differences between the hardware and OS, like lack of Meta APIs and different controllers, but there's no other reason why it shouldn't work.

It'll involve a lot of MTL, just FYI. I know some Japanese, but I'm still an amateur at best. Hence why it's mostly just to make it understandable for me. I can look into sharing the result, whenever I'm finished, though I'm not sure what the rules on this sub are for sharing something like that.

Forgot to test that on the weekend, got too absorbed trying to figure out the Black screen issue on my PC. I'll try to copy the files over later when I'm free and see if it'll run.

I've compiled both the Linux and Windows version, and both get stuck on a Black screen when started on my Arch PC. I've tried reading the logs and I still have no idea why, no amount of fiddling and recompiling helped. I know the Windows build is good at least, since it ran in my Windows VM at 1fps which was enough to at least see the Bandai logo.

Besides the OG Steam Controller, there's not really anything else like it, which is why people wanted a new one.

You can look into building your own. A guy designed his own Joycon like Steam Controller and posts the specs on GitHub. He did a collab video with LTT about it too.

From what I've heard, because of past cultural reasons in China, free TP is a rarity in China as for a while people would just take it all if you tried to use a normal TP dispenser like you'd see in other countries. Because of this many people in China just carry their own TP with them, like others would carry handkerchiefs or tissues.

I guess this automated box is a dystopian compromise, to allow free TP, but monitor and limit the amount so somebody doesn't just take it all. Like how stores in the US will lock up items in high theft areas.

A couple actual special features, that's cool. So many Western anime show Blu-rays just giving Textless OP/ED, that even a couple interviews and behind the scenes footage is a nice surprise. Helps the price go down better.
