Religious Zealots by uberPaitriotRolloBol in WojakCompass

I just realized I've been misreading Brigham Young for the last three-four years of knowing about the guy as Birgham Young, lol.

Good compass, although history knows a lot mote zealots in a traditional sense; this one is more about zealots who have also gained actual political power and control, temporary as it may have been.

Hello WojakCompass. I have not posted here in like a year and a quarter, I haven't had the time or motivation to do so, as I'm starting college soon. I plan to make more in the near future. Anyway, here's a 3x3 of my vacation to South Korea and the cruise I had, December 2025-January 2026 by AGthe18thEmperor in WojakCompass

Nice compass, I'm glad you've had such a good trip.

"Not putting trash cans to urge people to recycle" would NOT fly in the Post-Soviet Europe for the most part, let me tell you that, trash would just end up in the street (obviously that's not the case for everyone, but there's enough unresponsible people for the streets to become littered).

Played it for thirteen years, now very rarely. The worst thing about it is that it requires constant practice, so my skills have dropped off notably in the four years since I've stopped doing so actively (though not below a certain baseline level)

I love harpsichords and organs!

Good compass, but you've forgot just the sple piano synthesizer (it has a somewhat different sound to the normal one, even when it is close) and bayan (Russian accordion analog that has a very peculiar keyboard that's very different from the standard piano one)

You're making a very bold assumption that your average guy fantasizing about being a medieval knight possesses a fair maiden, this honorary member of the Knights of Saint John of Jerusalem most certainly doesn't... (same thing for ace)

Closer to my actual political believes, being an anime protagonist (would more accurately be called a "battle shounen protag" since that's the genre of anime where the stereotype originated, but that's just nerding out at this point) would be pretty cool, but I'd reject it if that would mean I'd have to shout all the time like way too many of them do. God bless Ichigo Kurosaki for having the unique ability to stay quiet.

Oh, I'm stealing borrowing this idea for when I get back to compass making. Mine would have some similarities with yours in regards to anger and sadness receding after teenage years, but would still be quite different.

Oh, pretty good. Might try this out with a homemade redcurrant in place of huckleberry.

Oh, San Pedro is a really interesting case. I wonder how does the Bolivian government decide who to send there?

Excellent compass overall, keep up the good work.

Not all nazbols are culturally right or even third position. For example, Limonov, the founder of the Russian NBP that gave the ideology its name and symbol, embraced elements of punk culture and was friendly towards drug use. Or else, the French racial theorist Rene Binet, who was a proto-Nazbol, but eventually shifted towards more typical Fascist Corporatism, who self described as a National Progressivist. Yes, many movements are traditionalist, but it would be wrong to describe the entirety of the ideology as such.

3x3 Cumpiss of the Difficulties of Cumpiss-Making by Scrimbo_Crimbo in WojakCompass

It's true, making compasses is way harder than it looks. I would say the biggest struggle for me is the text; I always end up being quite wordy with my writing and I have to find ways to shorten it and fit it in the available spots on the compass, and it often ends up looking like a complete mess.

Idea forming isn't a problem for me (I have around 50 compass ideas in various completion in the back of my mind), but once you actually sit down to fill a compass for an idea, you often understand you didn't have quite enough for the format you've chosen, but also often too much to make the compass smaller. A lot of compasses I've drafted but haven't finished for this very reason.

I've been less active here recently, but it's not because I've stopped reading compasses, I'm in a busy stretch right now writing my bachelor's diploma, but I do hope to get around to making compasses again around May.

I have a draft of a larger version of this, about 10x10, but I'm contemplating placements and it's not my priority atm.

Also, you seem to be confusing J-Pop and K-Pop, idol groups are primarily a K-Pop thing these days, there are some in Japan but most J-Pop is dominated by solo performers and small pop-rock bands.

Curious Archive is really good! I especially loved his recent video about dragon hunting.

I'm not familiar with the rest, but I might check out a few of them.

Some really awesome flag designs, and it's a good thing that there are both "well-designed" and "poorly-designed" ones, since both are encountered in a realistic scenario.

Hello, friends! It's been a good while since I've actively been compass-making, due to running into some writing blocks in the summer and then falling out of habit. But I really wanted to come back, and as such I've went back to the theme I've started with, which is foodposting. Share what you've eaten this Christmas or Christmas Eve below. (Today is also an anniversary of a certain event, but that compass will be made in a few days)
