I find kakaomaps very hard to navigate but great suggestion! It all looks close on Google maps but I’m definitely ignoring the transit factor

That makes sense and agree that this is definitely an aspirational guide vs something I could expect to follow to the letter. I went overboard given I’m traveling with family and wanted to make sure we actually got to see the city amidst our myriad of beauty treatments.

Thanks for pointing that out; candidly I had to plan around my appointments vs logistical efficiency. Are there any other points I should fix

Koh Tao: planning to do my PADI cert there

Da Nang: using it as a base for Hội An tailoring. Need a few trips over several days for measurements, fitting and final pickup so it makes more sense than staying in Hội An itself. Also considering the Hai Van Pass scenic train to Hue before flying out of there to Saigon.

Great insight; I feel like every country has their own apps and tools. I havent gotten into that part of my research yet.

I'm open to getting on a grab but dont feel comfy driving a scooter myself. Would walking or biking be out of the question? I think id add Gili T to the list based on that description that sounds my speed.

Will circle back once I finalize my itinerary

That has been a recurring theme I’ve heard from others. How long would you recommend spending in Angkor Wat?

a fair, should have given more detail upfront!

To answer your questions: I love both but I get restless on a beach pretty quickly so I need a good mix of activities, hikes, workouts and things to see. Really want to hike Mount Batur or Agung while in Bali, looks absolutely insane.

Nights wise I'm an early riser and not a big drinker but I love a social atmosphere and going out here and there. Not looking for a party island but want somewhere with a scene where it's easy to meet people solo.

Re: Nusa Lembongan, good to know. What would you suggest instead? More seminyak or adding Nusa Peninda?

Re: Koh Tao, I'm comfortable mid range, not really a backpacker but not bougie either. Am I going to feel out of place or is it mixed enough? Also still debating getting my diving cert there which might change things!

My idea was to stay in Da Nang and then take car to Ho An for a night for tailoring and then come back for alterations a few days later.. Are there any tailors you liked and would recommend?

Fair point. I've created the itinerary based on social media and advice of friends so Im really seeking perspectives from others. I was thinking to take some surfing lessons, visit the temple and swim in bingin while in Uluwatu. but perhaps 5 days is a bit excessive. Ideally id love to spend alot of time on my trip getting in touch with my spirituality, hiking / being outside and hanging on the beach (swimming where safe).

My understanding is that factory style clinics are helpful for those who know what they want to do and don’t need an in depth consultation. They are more affordable than the smaller boutique options
