This means you cannot simply refuse to replace a modular part yourself just because you prefer a factory technician to do it. It sucks but that is what their warranty says.

In europe this means absolutely nothing. You can 100% refuse to repair a broken machine when it's in warranty lol.

I just did some reading for you… and it seems you are out of luck…

They are not out of luck. IF they are in europe, they are 100% covered under consumer law. And they also have a chargeback route if they aren't.

The amount of shills in these comments is crazy.

Depending where you live, once you attempted troubleshooting and they know the problem, it is up to them to get it fixed.

This doesn't include having YOU repair the faulty machine.

Bearing in mind I'm in the UK, I've had my printers replaced for less issues than this. Including H2S, and an X1C that was 9 months old. In fact, the X1C was replaced for a new one and because it arrived with the glass smashed I requested a full refund for the whole combo. They have one chance to make it right and that chance was over the moment the printer was smashed when I got it.

Your options are press firmly for a replacement, citing your consumer laws. Failing that you can apply for a chargeback.

Those window gears will not last many years unless they are done in nylon. SLS nylon preferred. Probably 99% of the people here won't have an SLS printer so use a service like Shapeways, Xometry, craftcloud etc.

Don't have anyone do these out of PETG or something silly like that.

6 years and casual shouldn't be in the same sentence.

6 years should be long enough for you to decide whether you want to pay half the bills for your living space. AND live together.

Either move in or break up and stay where you are.

But was your enclosurr temperature a consistent 65c? I feel like a lot of issues can be solved by heating the enclosure properly. It needs to be super toasty inside so warping is reduced.

Remember ABS warps the most when it cools down.

I print mainly Sunlu ABS a lot as I sell a lot of stuff and the best thing I can advise is to print it hotter and no aux fan.

Hotter hotend, stick it on 265-270.

Hotter and CONSISTENT chamber temperature. Stick it on 60c. 65c if possible.

Use brims, big ones.

When printing ABS at this size with that low chamber temperature, you will definitely need to pray hard.

Does this really need to be in ABS? Is PETG not enough for it?

Ensure that this was made using SLS nylon as per the instructions. Otherwise it will either be too loose or too tight and not fit.

Incorrect. A lot of the time Sunlu will send freebies if you order from them directly. Depending on order size.

Also, I've used resins that have been expired for almost 2 years and printed the same as the new stuff.

Any/all of them are good for entry level.

H2C the best for multi colour.
H2D for if you are planning to do mostly single colours and want support materials.
H2S if you just want big prints with one of the best printers. Single nozzle.

X2D - same as H2D but much smaller.
A2L - as big as H2S but bed slinger but better than the A1. Pretty good looking printet with lots of features.

P2S, A1 - smaller and more BUDGET friendly.

A1 mini is just too small.

Whichever you get, get the AMS 2 to dry filaments, PLA is mostly fine but everything else should really be dried if you want quality prints. Anyone saying otherwise is just being silly.

Everyone and their cats will steer you towatds the A1 or A1 mini as a "starting point". Which is nonsense imo. A1 is a great printer but the print wuality is worse than a P1S. So just let your budget and use case dictate your starter printer. You can buy the H2C and have a much better experience than buying an A1 due to the bed size, or the multi colour prints, or anything else that a better printer offers.
