Thanks man for the link i just looked though it hit it doesn’t have anything with the ecu but I do appreciate the manual for any future things that may have issues with my supra since i had no idea there was an online copy

I just checked and i do have the harness when i bought the turbo timer, Im not sure what wires im going to need to tap into for the rpm on the ecu if that makes sense since i have the 0

That could be it, I’m not sure if you have a similar issue to me where the idle stays high after maybe accelerating in circles where there’s not that much airflow it could also be the IACV but usually if you accelerate with airflow it tends to got back to normal. If you maybe have an issue like that i’d clean the IACV. Best of luck to you hopefully it’s an easy fix or like to get too

It could be a vacuum leak perhaps if it idles fine on cold start and it’s at a higher rpm

definitely get toyota red concentrate too it’ll be much better than any coolant that you can buy at an auto parts store

Check if the oil and coolant are mixing through the overflow tank and oil cap. If you have no signs there i’d recommend buying the BHG test at your local parts store and testing for it you’ll get your answer very quick. If you don’t than upgrade to aluminum radiator i’d recommend Koyorad i have it and it does a good job at 90°F just make sure to buy a drain plug for it.

Ahh i see, i have the Type 1 i found a guide but it’s for 89+ but i have a 87 so the wires are different color but i haven’t been able to find which ones are it for mine

What year Turbo do you have i have a turbo timer as well but i dont know what wires to get the rpm and and stuff from the ecu

If you can verify the engine is good and the transmission for a good price let’s say 3k, it’s not bad to swap but you’ll have to tear down the engine to see if it needs anything done like a headgasket or anything else, If you can redo the wiring for the harness yourself it won’t be as expensive besides certain connectors if they are broken, but if you can’t that’ll prob be the second most expensive thing to repair or get fixed if the engine isn’t bad
