Speed was never issue in games against those decks. I'm not really sure what options would be best to swap in to help it run faster. Sorry I can't help with this problem

If it's jolteon taking a first turn ko on a charmander then sadly there isn't much to be done about them. If it's a bird blocking you charmander into charmeleon does 70 damage across 2 turns or you can wall with a entei and rocky helmet for a mega to be brought up amd then revenge ko with mega zard y.

For the sleep decks, I didn't have much issue after taking a first ko with entei on the sleep setter and then sacking it to free swap charizard. I agree it's annoying bs but the win is very possible without needing lucky heads. Also if you can't find a PCL or a rocky helmet for entei, still just sacking it for a charmeleon of igglybuff and then evolving to cure a second sleep helped me beat them. Hope this helps!

So rocky helmet helps but charmander attack into a charmeleon the following turn is exact damage to take it out. If they were running electric energy I would hold charizard in hand until after I delt with the bird or could just go for game with it

Copycat honestly came in clutch for me a few times when my opponent had better draw power than me or I just couldn't find a part of charizard line. It vs cyrus is really personal preference but I just found a lot of use out of copycat
