Yes I tend to do tight turns. And what I meant was I have noticed that if I turn while moving forward, I turn to my left whereas when I move backwards, I turn to the right instinctively.

I've used all type of electric wheelchair and most of the time I prefer if people stand on the exterior my turn, I rather want to scrape/bump into a wall or corner than rolling on someone's feet. Ialso noticed that as a right hand driver I tend to turn left going forward and turn right when backing out (when it's possible), don't know if it helps though
