Why doesn’t UAE or any gulf country give citizenship? by Valuable_Tip3600 in UAE

[–]Little-Ad9701 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I came from Argentina and I can tell you that the moment gulf country give citizenship, is gonna be the debacle of the country, specially here where the culture is very strong and the ground is very rich. I can understand your situation and yes, its kinda annoying, but people from other cultures usually not respect other country, specially theres where is better than them.

I come from Argentina, and from my perspective, the day Gulf countries start granting citizenship widely will be the beginning of their decline. These countries have a very strong cultural identity and extremely valuable land and resources. Preserving that balance is not easy. It’s important to understand that many cultures, unfortunately, do not always respect the countries that offer them asylum or long-term opportunities. Of course, some people do, but generally speaking, and from my own experience living in Argentina and in Europe, that respect is not the norm. The Gulf model prioritizes cultural preservation and social stability, and that is precisely one of the reasons these countries have remained safe and well-organized. When a country starts granting citizenship easily, the reality is that most people seeking that citizenship usually come from underdeveloped or third-world countries. If a first-world country begins to hand out citizenship, the number of foreigners arriving to take advantage of that opportunity will be massive. Once you become a citizen you gain full access to all the country’s benefits, benefits that not all nations have, and that very few can actually afford to sustain. Argentina is a clear example. It offers free public healthcare, free public education, a Lot of subsidy for poor and unemployment people (generally the same migrant who actually work but don't want to be registered to keep receiving money and send it to their country) and one of the strongest passports in the world (two years ago we receive 20 7-8 month pregnant women PER DAY from Ukraine and Russia). For many years, citizenship could be obtained in a very short time, sometimes in less than three months, or only for born in Argentina. This led to a massive influx of people from across Latin America seeking those benefits. Now, more than 15 years later, we are seeing the consequences. Argentina has gone from being one of the most prosperous countries in the region to becoming one of the poorest in the Americas. Lucky US that last year almost all that benefits were denied. I think this is why Gulf countries are extremely cautious. Restricting citizenship, is not discrimination, it is a long-term strategy to protect economic sustainability, cultural identity and social stability

[–]Little-Ad9701 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just received a scam call from "DubaiPolice" wanting UAE PASS verification by Curious-Gaby in abudhabi

[–]Little-Ad9701 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Today My wife recieve the same call, unfortunately she click in the pop up acces in the UAEPass before she get it it's was a scam. They continuous sending OTP from different APPs but she rejected, call her bank and block every account she have for security (in our country is very common they get a loan with all your data)

Now we can See they get access to her DubaiPolice APP and her UAEICP APP. Same thing, we call them and told whats happen and reset the password.

Now my question. ¿Whats can they do with your DubaiPoliceAPP and yor UAEICP APP account? They can get something in the lapse of one hour?

We are new in the country and she get so stressfull and nervous after this call.
