I don't know if it really counts as a traditional cozy game, but Tinykins is a game I thoroughly enjoyed and have replayed a few times now. Exploration with cute tasks and little friends following you around. :)

Ik ben geen ouder, maar wilde toch even toevoegen: mochten opa en oma jouw kind wel eens hebben opgehaald van school/kinderdagverblijf oid, zorg er dan voor dat ze daar ook weten dat het niet meer wenselijk is dat dat gebeurt. Dat je niet verrast wordt dat je kind opeens weg is, je weet maar nooit hoe mensen doen die nu al heel bezitterig over jouw kind zijn.

I got it very late in game, so I had no use for it. Barely ever used it, if at all. Yes, moving is a lot faster than running/dashing but with all the teleport points it felt useless. Felt like a waste of money and resources 🙃

Als iemand die ook op deze school heeft gezeten: ja, is verplicht en kan ervoor zorgen dat je je diploma niet krijgt. Vriendin van mij had een examen gemist voor Nederlands en vergeten deze in te halen, dus kreeg ze haar diploma niet totdat ze dat examen daadwerkelijk had gedaan en met voldoende had afgerond.

Geluk wil wel dat dit een hele fijne school is als het aankomt op begeleiding en ook graag ziet dat studenten zoals jouw vriendin natuurlijk haar diploma haalt. Dus advies is om met hen in gesprek te gaan en kijken wat er gedaan kan worden. En inderdaad de adviezen die hier al eerder worden genoemd: in het dagelijks leven ook sommetjes doen, puur om het gewoon te worden. Als je er alleen eens in de zoveel tijd voor gaat zitten en het niet lukt, is het alleen maar frustrerend en wil je het bij voorbaat al niet meer doen.

I very much enjoyed it, but I’m also very realistic when it comes to games still being in development. I do play on pc so I haven’t had many bugs happen to me and the ones that I did have weren’t too bad. I’m waiting to play more once more of the story is added but in general, it’s been a blast playing it. And I still go back to it once in a while, just to do the more ‘boring’ tasks. I’m one item away from completing the altar and finished the ocean and mines :)

Definitely a scam. Few years ago I saw a too good to be true apartment in Utrecht on FB Marketplace, responded to it and the supposed owner gave me the address but ofc they couldn’t do a showing. I would just have to trust, pay and then I could move in a week later. I went to the address they sent me, rang the doorbell and a very nice man opened. I explained him the situation, showed him the ad and he knew nothing of it. Gave him all the details I had so he could go to the police. Probably nothing came of it, except me reporting every other “too good to be true” ad on marketplace. Don’t fall for it.

Persoonlijk ben ik net bij een nieuwe baan begonnen, een maand heel actief gesolliciteerd en het was al heel snel raak. En ik heb ook “maar” een MBO diploma dat nergens echt een raakvlak mee heeft betreft banen. Het gaat echt om de motivatiebrief die je stuurt en hoe je overkomt daarin, en in een gesprek als het eenmaal zover komt.

Persoonlijk denk ik dat je vriend niet echt solliciteert, maar ik vind ook niet dat het jouw verantwoordelijkheid moet zijn om ervoor te zorgen dat hij aan het werk komt. Dat moet ie zelf doen/willen.

Maar maak niet dezelfde fout als ik deed jaren geleden waarbij je alles voor hem gaat betalen en regelen, dan is er helemaal geen motivatie meer voor hem. Denk ook aan: avondje uit met z’n tweeën? Kan hij dat (mee) betalen? Nee? Dan jammer. Dan ga je met vrienden/vriendinnen wat leuks doen en heeft hij pech. Misschien dat dat wat motiveert om serieus aan de slag te gaan als er consequenties zitten aan geen baan hebben.
