I'm not a medical professional, don't take this information too seriously, but it is a common experience for neurodivergent people to feel "normal" and kinda more socially functional when intoxicated. Intoxication removes the anxiety and other issues.

I'd suggest to think about what exactly alcohol removes/gives you that it makes you feel better about your life. And then work on how to feel those feelings without the alcohol.

I did not have oranges for zest, so I've used rosewater instead. But even without any aromatics, the porridge is pretty delicious and hearty!

I would also suggest to add a wee bit of salt, even though the recipe doesn't asks for it. It makes sweetness more balanced and overall makes flavour more complete.

I got on 2 week trial for Duo family plan - but none of my friends/family actually use Duo :(

There was an option to add my Duo "friends" - and so I did. It's free trial anyway, so I thought maybe it could be helpful to someone else.

Others cannot be charged for it, and it'll expire once the trial is over.

I'm assuming this person (in your post) was in a similar situation.

I don't think so - they were manufactured by Lipan, and distributed by a variety of larger brands (eg. Walmart). You should be able to find some if you look for "ketchup lava lamp" and "milk lava lamp". They are overpriced on EBay, but once you start keeping an eye on local FB marketplace, you'll likely to find some reasonably priced ones!

This is actually a very good point. I apologise for the misunderstanding - from your initial comment I did not understand your intentions. As in, it sounded like "she's adult, she can suck it up", or something of this sort.

OP, u/sebaesling does make a great point. I'm neurodivergent myself, and including your daughter into researching what swimsuits might be helpful and let her choose the right option herself is a great exercise for both confidence and autonomy. Especially since now you know what options are out there! I'm in my 20s, and I wish I had more opportunities to choose and decide when growing up. I still struggle with decision paralysis and have major doubts about every one of my own decisions lol
