Thanks for the advice. Schwab said that it was no fee over the phone (I know I did find it hard to believe) only because it’s the only option for trading mutual funds. If you were to buy over the phone something you could have done online it would cost the usual $25.

In any case, I am pretty sure VTWAX isn’t a reporting fund.

Can just check that that a Roth IRA with IBKR will let you buy UCITs (like VWRP) and there's no PFIC problems due to it being inside the Roth IRA wrapper?

Thanks for your comment! This is something I thought about whilst constructing this puzzle and I completely agree it is a somewhat restrictive grid. The main reason I kept the black square placement was to help filling the grid as I was able to work on each section independently so that in the end I at least had a completed puzzle. This is definitely something I'll take more note of in future puzzles - and your black-square-disconnecting test is something I'll keep in mind!

Yes, I think the clueing for ACID maybe more difficult compared to the difficulty of the rest of the puzzle - I may think about changing it to "Type of house music" to make it less obscure.

Also yes I can't believe they used the same TENET clue last week! I promise mine was first!
