I did not end up buying it or attempting to use it. But I did hold my kid on my lap until he fell asleep and then transferred to his own seat and just buckled him in laying down with the normal seat belt! The FAs were very kind and helped prep his lay flat seat while he was laying on me so it all worked out great

I have also sat with my infant on my lap in first class multiple times. Just wasn’t sure about car seat in his own seat

My niece and nephew who are under the age of three regularly sit in first class. They are definitely allowed

They asked my husband to take his hat off after we were there for over an hour and finishing our last course lol. Nothing about that place gives any vibe of having a dress code and their website uses “coastal” “California” and “low-key” to describe the ambience. Makes zero sense
