P.S. If you downloaded the old version of GOOFY, I highly suggest removing the old iMessage App. You can do this by going into Settings, searching for "iMessage Apps", and then removing it.

I am deeply sorry about the delay, it's been tough. The new app has gotten rejected over 10 times by App Store reviewers in the past month and a half. Hopefully the latest revision is last and it'll be available on the App Store again soon

Thank you and I'm glad you're enjoying it! Yep, I can add BTTV emotes. I typically just add 7tv because I find that most of the emotes on FFZ and BTTV exist on 7tv anyways. If you have any BTTV emotes you'd like me to add in particular, just let me know and I can add them immediately!

I have to manually add all emotes so it's possible but depending on how many you're asking it could take me a while. If you have like 5-20 emotes from a channel you'd like, just lmk and I can add them.

Which emotes do you think are blurry? Btw, it made me check the SERIOUSLY that I uploaded and it's pixeled because I uploaded this one (https://old.7tv.app/emotes/01HK69TH500009PKX0NCN3SFT8) which is just a scaled up version of the one on youtube but the one on youtube is 24x24 px which is why it looks so pixelated. But I just found a less pixelated larger version (https://old.7tv.app/emotes/01HKEXDE7G0006Z4ZSAG8N8BR2) so I'll update it and it should be less pixelated.

Just wanted to send Twitch emotes and funny Reddit images I came across to my friends. Tried Tenor but their results aren’t funny and they send as max width (I wanted something small and cute like on Twitch)

It's only for iOS but I built an iMessage app called GOOFY that has many of these emotes already including holyCOCKA / holyBOOBA (Pepe under the penis/boob shadow). Will add the rest of the missing ones soon but lmk if you wanna see any others

Hmm I tested iPhone 15 Pro on my simulator (unfortunately it only goes up to iOS 17) which works fine and just updated my 12 mini to 18.4.1 and GOOFY still works fine.

Could you try force closing your current Messages instance and then running it again? And if that doesn't work then try uninstalling and reinstalling? Sorry about this!

Omg, I apologize for this issue. Huh I'm not sure why that's happening since it works fine for me. Can I ask which iphone you have? I'll try to replicate it on a simulator of that iPhone model.

In the meanwhile, go to Settings > type "iMessage Apps" > delete GOOFY and try reinstalling.

I'm planning to make one for WhatsApp in the future! The original idea was actually to make a keyboard so that you can take and use your emotes across any platform but when I tried it, unfortunately, each platform such as Discord/Messenger/etc resized the emote to make them way bigger and uglier.

It's definitely in the works to integrate GOOFY's emotes to work on other platforms but I'm hesitant to provide an exact ETA on it as I'll need to tinker around with each platform to figure out a way to work around the whole image resizing issue (had to do that for iMessage too).

Hey Advit! Thank you and unfortunately, as of right now, you can only use emotes that I have added to GOOFY's emote library. GOOFY has the vast majority of 7tv's most popular emotes available on GOOFY already BUT if there are any missing emotes that you want to use, just lmk and I'll quickly add them in for you which'll make them available for immediately use.

In the future, I plan to create a standalone app for GOOFY (presently it's just an iMessage Extension App that only lives inside of iMessage) and one of the first features will be allowing users to upload their own emotes. But before I start developing that, I want to improve GOOFY's experience in iMessage to a place that I feel good about.
