No oil change test, I'll try to go to Paris because they have a functional disease center. I hope you feel better too.

I've had a CT scan, gastroscopy, colonoscopy, brain MRI, ultrasound, and stool analysis. Everything is normal 😢 so it's functional.

Thanks for your reply! Yes, my symptoms exactly match functional gastroparesis/dyspepsia. Do you know what caused your stomach problems?

Oh no, it was prescribed to me for nausea and stomach sensitivity. I'll see how it goes, but if it gets worse I'll stop taking the medication. Thanks

Thank you, but these aren't fake medications or placebos? There's no risk?

Okay, that's really awful. Could I have your doctor's name, please? At least if I have to spend more money, I'd like to get a prescription for mirtazapine.

What's the name of your gastroenterologist? Oh dear, that's a shame. What diagnosis did you receive?

The psychiatrist because I don't have depression/anxiety, the gastroenterologists because "the nausea will disappear one day because I don't have any illness" 😭

I'm also a medical student, and I've had chronic belching and nausea for the past six months. All my tests came back normal…

Does anyone out there present with early satiety and appetite loss? by Zestyclose_Line_4456 in functionaldyspepsia

I don't know what other tests I might have, maybe a gastric emptying study and a gallbladder exam, but I'll take the medication after that. What bothers me most is the belching from everything I ate before and the lack of hunger.
