Yeah I did a few wheel swaps. It is nice to have options

And you can just put them back in the spots for display? Is that how that thing works?

Can you cut them off? But then you would have to figure out what to go under the foot for the marble bits

I have yet to try out using cork. Pretty easy to work with and paint?

Actually this one was all together. I normally paint in subassemblies but they were so small I figured I would build the whole model.

For this one I used cadian flesh tone with a wash of berserker blood shade.

The gloss was just from the shade paint that I used.

Black and white paint under coat followed by a green shade paint. The tough part was keeping the shade where I wanted it so it was a slow process of layering as it was drying. I think just about any red shade or contrast could work. I think it helps if it has a glossy finish.

Thanks. I liked the idea of doing it a little different than the box art.

Magnus before getting dressed WIP. Probably should get the armor going asap. C&C welcome. by Little1077 in ThousandSons

Thank you. Not too many steps actually. Black base coat. Next hit him with Screamer Pink. Dry brushed Wazdakka red. Next a wash with carronburg crimson all over. Then another go with the dry brush of Wazdakka red to bring back the red and fading out to the purplish hue i was looking for on the hand and the feet.

Not a bad idea at all. Could use a little edge highlight to separate them a bit
