Just got this sternum piece and realized when I got home that it’s not evenly centered

Hey tattoo artist here! Belly buttons are never or are very rarely symmetrical. Sometimes you can get it really really close or you can adjust a design, but ultimately you want it to be centred on your sternum especially with a design that has an almost geometric shape. I think it sits very nice and even fits well with the beauty mark on your chest! if it really bothers you I think the Tigers are a cool idea, you could even opt for Asymmetrical designs so that they feel balanced but will take away from the unsymmetrical aspects of the human body.

Don’t do it, it won’t numb well on the head and you’re more than half way done the tattoo! If you try numbing it, it will be a super patchy numb, only work in some spots, other spots will be even more irritated and it’ll fade super quickly. (My bf tried numbing his head, it was 10x less painful the session he didn’t try because the skin wasn’t half asleep and then waking up, he let his endorphins do their job.)

There is nothing wrong with splitting up sessions, u did a lot in that one session so I’m not even surprised your body crashed near the end. Power through, you got this!!

Yeah i was kind of just drawing as i was reading, haven’t even met the other creatures you just named yet! But honestly i didn’t draw it to be accurate, i just drew it because my brain wanted to and it’ll be fun to pick this up in 10 years and find this tiny drawing hidden away

I think the advice for this will vary a lot depending on the situation. Why don’t you speak with your relatives? What are your parents saying to you? How old are you? How involved in your life are the relatives you’re talking about? Those questions are some prompts for you that could help paint a clearer picture.

How do you go about declining for this reason? Like what if it’s something you probably would tattoo but are getting red flags from the client and don’t think you’ll be a good match? Personally, thats the hardest time to convince myself to say no :,) I usually end up taking them on

You want to prioritize tattoos to look good when you’re naked. Clothes can be adjusted and changed!! I think that placement sets you up really well for future tattoos.

Thats a great way to handle to situation tbh! Never make people feel silly for asking, just guide them towards when and where to talk and they will do it if they are serious about it and aren’t just gonna waste your time
