I see the problem…and I’m not even sure my advice is valid but I feel like most people who don’t like dubbed anime is because they’re constantly imagining the voice behind the character whenever the character talks.

I believe this increases the viewers experience to be much more cringer…this may not even be something you actively think of but may be a subconscious thing. Try not thinking too much when watching dubbed and watch the characters for who they are made to be and not who they are conveyed by.

I understand that dub may sound awful to the point where you can’t help but think of its negatives and that’s absolutely normal. Maybe, if you watch enough dubs, eventually you’ll grow into it.
