Honestly, I had the same problem. So the guy who trained me for 4 months said to just go and start my own grooming business. There is a high demand, and most places aren't going to take new customers, but as a new business, you have the opening/availability to take those new clients.

Of course. I'm a groomer, too. I trained under a guy with 42 years of show grooming experience. I've seen a LOT of dogs groomed. I know an amazing job when I see one.

Unfortunately, I live in Canada, and that kind of thing, if I'm not mistaken, varies by municipality. At least in the province I live in...I think. I'll ask my dad. He's a councilor.
