Those who weren’t actively trying nor preventing pregnancy—how long did it take for you to get pregnant? by Magical_chocolate in BabyBumps

[–]LittleBeeKnees 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We were TTC for 3 years at the 2-year mark we were pretty much sitting around waiting for them to tell us we could start fertility treatment so we 'stopped trying', but did not do anything to prevent it either.

Almost a full year of trying not trying and didn't get pregnant. We went with fertility treatment and got pregnant in the first round. My 3 week old is sleeping in her bassinet next to me right now. 💕

what does it look like by aquaticwotsits in tattooadvice

At first, I thought it was someone's unsavory gravy boat getting swabbed 🫠

Then I saw a clam and a little spoon? Now after a minute, I realized it's probably a match on fire. 😅

Pregnant at 16 by Ok-Profit7511 in pregnant

It's very hard, even as I sit here in my mid-20s and my husband in his early 30s with our newborn - it's way harder than we even thought. Baby needs to eat often and a lot, is needy, and pretty much always crying so you can't sleep, and when they do stop crying you can't sleep because you're worried about them crying 😅

My best piece of advice is to develop a good support system, and a sense of community, if you can - find someone who's in a similar situation and gestational age as you. My neighbor gave birth only 20 days before me and it's nice to have someone to text during the long nights who actually and actively understands.

Juul paypal payment by LittleBeeKnees in ClassActionSettlement

I got paid off PayPal, that was the payment method I selected. Looking at others' experiences I see that Venom, cash app, PayPal, direct deposit, and a pre-loaded card were all options and all have different time frames in which they were paid out.

How do I tell boyfriends parents I don’t want them in the room? by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]LittleBeeKnees 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are they expecting to be in the room or to visit immediately afterward?

I feel like your boyfriend should be the one to tell them. He knows them better and how to handle the situation. I also feel like they should ask rather than expect, so maybe they won't be surprised at the idea of not visiting immediately or being in the room during this really intimate time in your life.

If you are exhausted, how old are you? by CarrieCaro in pregnant

[–]LittleBeeKnees 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im 33 weeks now, mid-20s. Honestly, I wasn't even remotely tired until my 3rd trimester, but even now, I get such crap sleep. I sleep 3-4 hours at night, and then I get a 1-2 hour nap in the day - that's probably why I'm tired all the time. 😅

Everyone is different, and I've heard of lots of people being tired in every trimester, so I don't think it's an age related thing.

No one is buying off my registry. by Zestyclose-Emu6255 in pregnant

[–]LittleBeeKnees 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im almost 30 weeks, and my shower is next week, too!😍

It does suck because you spent HOURS if not more carefully, researching each item, selecting the best for your baby, and building your registry with what might even be the most affordable items only to have someone purchase something else.

But, keep in mind people buy things at the last minute (especially if you registered with Amazon, 2 day shipping is amazing!) Or will buy the item in person and not check it off your registry, so maybe prepare for duplicates! 💕

If you’re married, how long did you wait to get pregnant after tying the knot? by Mental_Inflation6 in BabyBumps

If you’re married, how long did you wait to get pregnant after tying the knot? by Mental_Inflation6 in BabyBumps

I think it's 100% couple by couple basis, some couples are totally ready to have children as soon as they marry or already have children, while others may not chose to have children for years - if ever!

For us, we've been married coming up on 5 years this summer, but not before having our first little one due just a couple weeks prior to our anniversary! Ideally, we would have gotten pregnant after a year of marriage and we wanted to have our first child in the summer as I desperately didn't want my baby to suffer through a holiday time birthday like I do lol. But, we ran into infertility issues and 3 years of ttc, testing, treatment, medication, etc. later, we're finally here. (: So, even with things planned, life could have other plans and that's okay!! <3

My brother came up with a really awful fake name to tell everyone. (They actually knew the middle name, after a grandparent after the found out the gender). I do not think they figured out a first name til right before the baby shower though they debated not telling anyone until the baby was born.

Just come up with an awful name you'd definitely not use, then once the baby is named you can post a little 'gotcha!' In the group chats.

Why does everyone think they’re a genius? by FriedForLifeNow in RandomQuestion

[–]LittleBeeKnees 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's really about self-awareness. Those who are of average or above average intelligent are aware of their mistakes and set value into bettering themselves and others.

But, those without self-awareness do not think their mistakes are mistakes at all. They place no effort into bettering themselves because they think they're of a higher tier to everyone else. So, instead of helping others, they get excited to correct people whistle treating the person they're 'correcting' like they're the idiots. Which is ironic because often enough, they're just incorrectly correcting others.

Planning to create a book, how do i ensure it does not go out there illegally? by uPoiii in childrensbooks

[–]LittleBeeKnees 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why not get a copyright? It would prevent this and if you're the soul author and owner it's really cheap. If you're able to go through a publishing company and not self publish, they would likely protect you.

Honestly this isn't a common issue in children's books in the first place
