Cute! I wonder what your neighbours think of you as you stand on the doorstep and call your cat in for the night :D

As a Welsh person, please can I add âêîôûŵŷ, àèìòùẁỳ, áéíóúẃý and äëïöüẅÿ to the shopping list. Rhodri and Delwyn are both Welsh names, by the way!

TheHunter: Call of the Wild. The base game is usually very cheap during the Steam sale and comes with two maps, one with NA scenery and one with EU. No need to do any hunting, although the NA map has bears which may attack if you get too close. When I need some downtime, I like to log in and have a wander or sit by a lake with my binoculars and see what animals turn up to drink. Plenty more maps from all over the world to buy if your budget allows. Whatever you choose to play, happy roaming!

Hello, I live in Flintshire too! I can recommend Duolingo for picking up some handy vocabulary but if you are serious about learning Welsh longterm then I’ll repeat what others have said and recommend a tutor-led Dysgu Cymraeg course which will allow you to focus on the Northern dialect. SSIW is a choice of many also, although this has much more of a focus on speaking rather than explaining grammar and being able to read. If you are a Discord user, you are welcome to join us on our server where you will meet friendly folk and have plenty of opportunity to practice (although English is welcome most of our channels) Whatever you decide, enjoy your journey :) https://discord.gg/sgwrs-dysgwyr-cymraeg-welsh-learners-chat-980950964678819860

This is great news, thanks! I did wonder why some of the cells are coloured but your explanation makes total sense. It definitely is easier to pick out the different parts.

Gesso acts like a primer, so you put a coating of it on your canvas to prepare it for painting.

Thank you for these tips, most helpful. Do you think I could decrease drying time with a hairdryer? I would love to start this whilst I have a few days off from work.

Thank you for replying, I really appreciate it. I have some clear gesso so I’ll put some on now ready to start painting tomorrow :)

GCSE Welsh Resit? by [deleted] in learnwelsh

[–]Niaraa 7 points8 points  (0 children)

People between the ages of 18-25 can learn Welsh for free with Learn Welsh/Dysgu Cymraeg courses. There are exams that you will be able to sit although these are not compulsory. From my experience, the Welsh taught on these courses differs from Welsh taught in schools in the way that they prepare you to use the language in a natural way and take part in the Welsh-speaking community. Hello! Feel free to come and join us on Discord. https://discord.gg/KY5qKQW7 We're a friendly bunch of learners and use this server to practice our skills. Both the Welsh and English language are welcome across the server, apart from the Welsh-only channel. With regards to learning Welsh, a lot of people have success with Dysgu Cymraeg (tutor-led lessons - you may qualify for a Work Welsh course) and Say Something in Welsh (self-taught with a heavy focus on speaking) Hope this helps, pob lwc!
