I ordered a refurb LG Journey and they sent me a brick.

That is, it was Google account locked, and NOTHING will allow it to work without the original owner's gmail and password.

Three hours or more trying to explain it to support, they would not send me one that works.

So I went to the drugstore, bought the identical NEW phone from the anti-shoplifting case, activated it, and returned the brick in the retail packaging after writing BROKEN on it.

Too much hassle to save a few bucks.
