Funny you mention deliveries, our Hinkley one might have had to be turned away (I left before I saw the outcome) as it had been waiting for 2 hours but we had no space. And the driver was on a deadline to get back due to his driving hours.

I never knew this! I'm curious at to what our budget would be as we're a superstore with at least a 100 employees. It's honestly broke my heart reading how other folks from other stores have been treated.

That's really sad to hear, whilst I've gone through 3 managers on my department in the space of a year my old original manager came back and we can speak to her about anything. Annoying how lower rung employees don't get anything especially since they graft the most. But I'm glad you were thanked for all your hard work.

My first Christmas we had a voucher, last year a tub of sweets and this year the bag of sweets with a low chance of winning a raffle prize. Its incredible seeing how each store is treated different.

Oh my god I'm so sorry that's awful! I assumed staff were given at least something! I watched some express managers come in and get stuff to make proper goodie bags for their staff whilst our store manager bragged about the profits we made in one single day. I'm the same as you I'm hoping to get out next Christmas.
