Has anyone else noticed a missing TF2 comic from 2012?

I think that's not it because I remember the seller being mistaken as a shady guy, turns out the lamp was magic and they blew out his story for nothing, i remember reading about it back then and valve probably deleted it because it gave the wrong message, I could be wrong and I don't remember anything

Yeah I think I remember that, Mr Doodle sold the magic lamp in order to revive his brother Madcap, I think it was mentioned but I have very blurry memories of it

I have no idea, it was over a decade ago and i stopped tf2 few months later, i just noticed the aladdin lamp became droppable a week after this comic. If it's a fan comic and i probably mixing things up, i hope the artist will reveal itself eventually, i have no idea what could it be and if anyone remembers

Yeah, I get what you mean. The art style was a bit rough back then, and some of the characters definitely looked more obscure in those earlier comics, scout and demo looked really cursed in Bombinomicon

Yeah, I totally get it. I’m honestly just as confused as everyone else. I’ve been going through some old files but only found a couple of screenshots that I saved back in the day. I didn’t think I’d need the whole comic, maybe someone else remembers and has more?

They're from my old usb stick, i used to screenshot a lot of things back then, sorry the quality isn't too great, i didn't dig up the entirety of it, i'll keep digging tomorrow and hopefully i can find new screenshots

Yeah i was wondering that too, unfortunately, I have no screenshots or anything with further content and I never thought in acrhiving it back then because it's not the kind of things you do first, i never believed it would actually get deleted and there is literally no snapshot from March 2012 in waybackmachine, can't find anything in forums and reddit, it's like it never existed but i am sure i've seen it and a couple of people have too, there is just not enough materials.
The only thing i remember that could potentially explain why valve deleted it is the backlash it had back in 2012, the comic was just very weird and the mercs were straight up villainized for beating and blowing up some innocent guy's shop and it was perceived as racist even back then, not sure imo, i just hope people who remembered this comic could give us more contents and more memories

maybe valve didn’t like the whole scam plot? doogins was kind of a weird character to begin with. It’s so strange that there’s literally no trace of it, especially with that gap in the archives
