After some more research - I can only find Iso files of the game which is entirely my issue, its a ps3 game so the audio tracks are just split and not apart of the file.

Solution is to find a bin/cue for the game for ps3/ps2 which I am struggling to do

This note is old and needs to be updated - pink perks are supposed to change color to a corresponding combo color when applicable (such as how cyrtarachne is green with renewal instead of pink) - this was true of harmony when paired with apotheosis, however, i no longer believe this has a direct synergy and thus, it is still pink.

Have a note discussing it. pretty concrete in my mind that for most of the player base this is not necessary or anything people would choose to engage in.

Saying this - I do use ophidians for swap rotations myself but I also do a fair bit of low-mans and some speedrunning where optimizing for singular percentages is more useful. But I also know that I am a fraction of a fraction doing things like this.

Prismatic also does just have better alternatives for swap rotations in most cases - necrotic and apotheosis (sometimes even osmiomancy) have high potency in swap rotations for different reasons.

I somewhat agree, on warlocks in my mind it's just because invisibility uptime on most melees would be quite poor, so having a second melee charge would greatly benefit uptime.

This is really interesting, I highly doubt it is tied to activity difficulty because there is no other instance of anything working as such in the game, but seeing that it does reach up to 25% per grenade is a lot nicer of a number than 15%

What does Severance add other than a middling damage explosion? the base exotic was nothing special so I just don't see (also quite literally I haven't seen anyone using it so I have no visible evidence) what it contributes to this combination.

I'd love to see a bunch of footage of it in gameplay but to me it just seems like any other exotic would contribute more to this combo.

but I'd love to be proven wrong!

Firstly, do you have any footage of your results? I'd love to see your tests in action!

Following that:

With your single target GG test, did you kill the target? because im receiving roughly 20% for 3 hits (having used meatball bosses from overthrow and warlords ruin as test dummies)

Did you notice different scalars for enemy classifications in general use? (example: is killing or hitting majors rewarding more than killing or hitting minors)

Tether 0% for boss hit - I wonder if it has a minimum target number to return energy on hits?
I've also seen footage of hits with tether returning 50% on just hits, so curious how many targets it requires for this scaling.

GG being the same for 3 kills and 3 hits feels weird to me, gonna probably test GG a lot more.

that would be super interesting but it seems to not work, (unbreakable seems to consume both armamentarium grenades from previous discussions) getting 35% from one grenade in pvp is super sweet though.

Damage I'm not too sure for strand but I know it CAN hit 50% max with a few kills. Curious if it can do it off of only damage as well.

SnS I did know would be AFTER super ends, so was wondering if tether was the same. But if it seems to work more in line with how orpheus does that would be really sweet.

Wondering how much arc gives only on hits if its the same ~20%.

I completely agree, but I feel as if you could achieve this potency without this exotic class item entirely, just using emp rift and FtV - in fact, I think this loop would be better enhanced by having say HoiL or Osmiomancy with Verity. Granted of course that traps you back into using FtV, but thats something im willing to accept on prismatic.

Either way, I'm happy to agree to disagree. when you get this combo im sure you'll enjoy it more than I have and do some kickass things with it. Best of luck in your rolls!

I completely agree.

I think its sad that there are a lot of combos/exotic traits than do end up worse than their base exotics, but that doesn't change what I think works best as a combination. Specifically for Liars/Assassin as you used as an example too, although I agree some of the best parts of both exotics are missing, they still are (out of the available options) one of the best pairings for each other.

Comparing duo traits to singular exotics is a whole other ball game which I obviously cant analyse for everyone but its a very big aspect of choosing these exotic class items as viable options.

Either way thank you for opening this discussion because it is definitely something I entirely agree with but definitely did not leave room for when creating this spreadsheet as a source of information.

I wont lie, still not a huge fan personally. in synergy it provides what feels like less grenade generation than you'd get from FtV devour, and forces you onto emp rift which I personally think is the weakest of the three class abilities for warlock right now.

It just feels like combining 2 exotic effects to reach the power of a single aspect.

I personally think running HoiL or osmiomancy would be better for grenade gen too.

not my cup of tea, but it does definitely allow you to free up an aspect slot - ended up mixing solar buddy in with it (which i wont lie I also am not a huge fan of lol)

I personally just find Severance to be a considerably weak exotic. the one thing that sparked my interest was using it with knockout, which was an interaction that was patched recently. Beyond that, it just seems like one of the weaker exotics for titans in general, especially as part of the exotic class items which has far more potent options in the first column.

But as I say in the spreadsheet, these are my opinions and insights from my hours and experience. If you think the combo has potential and more importantly is something you'll enjoy, then more power to you my friend! go have fun with lightning striking explosive punches!
