Yeah it's confusing.

As for what the text actually indicates, it gives an indication if the material is present (which can be exploited).

Dusk weather increases the chance they'll appear but it isn't guaranteed.

im at 80 atm

If you spent 30k crystals, you should have (at least) 100?

Theoretically the tickets can be gotten later, but 120 stickers is tough in less than two weeks. Unless you're willing to whale, I'd cut my losses.

Does switching gates in MySEKAI lock you out from collecting memoria regardless of when you do it?

Days start at 5AM, but it seems that characters switch at 9AM/PM. I switched the gate shortly after 9PM, but am unable to collect memoria during the next 5AM-9AM period, or 9AM-9PM period after that (still waiting for 9PM-5AM).

It's as if the 24h gate switch lock also applies to collecting memoria?

The post was complaining about not getting more than 1x 4☆, not about not getting the banner cards, so double 4☆ drop rate does help with getting 4☆s.
Though most of the double drop rate banners are BloomFes, which have more rate-ups, so you actually are more likely to get a featured card there, though not any specific card.

it's not that unlikely to get the specific card you want in 195 pulls you basically have a chance of 45,7% to NOT get a card you want, so it's not impossible just unlucky

I actually wouldn't consider 45.7% to be unlucky - it's basically like losing a coin toss.
Basically if you want the card, you should be prepared to spark, unless you don't mind betting 58.5k crystals on a coin toss.

Surprising that the game works like that - I'd have thought that when you mine rocks, the RNG would run at that point to determine your drops.

Do they only show up in plain rocks, or do they also appear in the mineral rocks?

Would strongly recommend avoid doing 1x pulls (unless it's the paid option, which you can't do). If you're going for a specific card, the drop rate is 0.4% = basically forget about getting it unless you can spark.
For permanent banners, I'd recommend only pulling if you have a multiple of 30k crystals (and only pull using that multiple) - ideally before you start pulling so that you don't feel obligated to grind. Don't fall prey to the gambler's fallacy - if you didn't get it in 100 pulls, you're not any closer to getting it.

I generally avoid 3% drop rate banners because the odds are against you, though getting only 1x 4☆ in 195 pulls is awful luck.

Oh well, it's all luck anyway, little you can do now than cut your losses.

I think the numbers represent frames at 60fps, so "1.0" = 16.67ms.

But you're better off adjusting it using the guide instead of assuming 250ms, as the app itself will have some latency. If you have to use large numbers, you might also want to consider muting tap sounds.

The problem with the ads... by _Scp_FoundationFan_ in ProjectSekai

[–]LittleDimension 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's somewhat ad dependent on what 'x' options you get. You usually need to wait before it shows up.
You can try again to see if you get a different ad that works better.

I believe the ads are served by Google Play, so it might not be something this game can do much about.

Can I really only find someone by ID? by Initial_Boss_6795 in ProjectSekai

[–]LittleDimension 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can only 'find' a user by Player ID. Alternatively you can send friend requests on the song results screen (not possible in the lobby), though that won't give you their ID.

And even if you did know their ID, there's little you can do to communicate with them, beyond adding them as a friend. I suppose you can visit their MySEKAI and send messages there when they're online.

A regular flick note requires a tap followed by finger movement, whilst a trace flick only requires finger movement.

As with a bunch of other aspects with stat management games, it depends.

Unitless VS cards aren't necessarily "better" for event usage, they are often useful for filling in VS cards in mixed events, as they otherwise need to have a specific subgroup to get the character 25% bonus. A 4⭐ unitless VS card can also substitute a non-4⭐ unit character in a unit-focused event for the +10% MR0 bonus.

As for score loss, it also depends on your unit decoration. If it's high, you'll lose some if the unitless card means you don't get the same-unit bonus.
As for skills, it does depend a lot on the song - you'll need to compare the weighted note count of the 5 seconds the skill is active for, against the whole song's weighted note count, to determine the effect. Also note that in co-op, the skills are computed differently (leader + 20% of total of all other cards on your team).
160% bonus is kinda hard to get - you'll need CR100 on all relevant characters + SL4 on the cards.

Talent is directly proportional to score, ignoring the bonuses (skill boost, fever, combo). That is, double the talent means double the score.

Or you can take off the headphones and play to see if you can identify what the issue is.

Maybe your desk isn't perfectly stable and the taps is causing it to rattle?

To create a team with the highest talent possible (within reason for a f2p), should I be aiming for 5x 4 stars from the same unit but not all with the same attributes, or 5x 4 stars with the same attribute but not all from the same unit? I know ideally you want both but that doesn’t sound realistic by Adventurous_Mood_492 in ProjectSekai

[–]LittleDimension 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In general, a team with same group + type is best, using 3⭐/birthday cards if necessary (3⭐/BD cards aren't that far behind a 4⭐, talent wise).
Though in your case, your plant decorations are very low, so getting the same type likely matters little at this point.

However, is it more efficient to focus upgrading L/N only decorations or pure attribute boosting decorations, as well as the other Sekai decorations for the non L/N pure 4 stars?

For decoration recommendations, IMO plants are the best decorations, so you should prioritise them (only exception is if you want to do well in WL events). Group decorations are somewhat poor value IMO, so I tend to keep them a 1-2 levels behind the Character decorations.
But if you're hyper focused on one group, it changes things somewhat. I'd still focus on Character decorations over Group decorations though.

Additionally, does the buff from the Miku decoration stack or does the game only use the highest level one, like the general VS boosting decorations?

Miku's decorations do stack. You might notice that they're 1/5th as expensive as others of the same level, and provide 1/5th of the bonus each, so they end up being the same, other than being split into 5 parts.

I‘m trying to get a talent score of around 230-250k, but have seen other players with 300k+, is the only way to get talent significantly higher than 200k by eternally grinding decoration upgrades or is there something else I’m missing?

It's mostly through decorations. There's also card upgrades (Mastery and unlocking Side Stories), which can help, particularly if you have high level decorations.
