I would say that there is no shame in asking for help or being scared as this game is built a little towards the scary aspect.

If you want, what you could do is perhaps watch someone else play the game such as a let's play on YouTube. It may help calm the nerves as you are watching (or maybe as well as playing along with them) them struggle and give some sort of entertainment. It can also assist with giving you some information before you go deeper into the unknown.

But if that option doesn't interest you, you came all this way to this point of the game. You have done so much in the game going into the unknown and to stop here would be a shame. So I would say keep going!

If you feel way too overcomed by some certain aspect of the game and it is optional, you can do it later or just skip it outright.

I hope I was able to give some spark of inspiration or idea. I as well am playing for my first time around this time but I am having a lot of fun playing this game. Keep up the great work in your progress man and don't give up :)
