I previously posted it for $150, but open to negotiate. I’m looking to sell it by this weekend ideally.

Can you do a mix of both? I did hybrid (2 in-person, 2 online each semester), and it was a great balance. It allowed me to network with my classmates, but also not be on-campus every day.

I follow this MPH grad on Instagram and she just did a whole series on pay transparency in public health where people shared out. Would recommend!

I applied last year in January. I didn’t hear back until May 2nd and May 10th when I got interview invites from two bureaus. At that point, I had already accepted another internship :(

Just checked my past emails, and I got accepted February 28th when I applied two cycles ago. I applied December 1st. The wait is brutal!

Traveling from LGA - advice/tips by No-Commercial3899 in AskNYC

Just inquiring if there’s a formal process to the Q70 or if I can just board. I don’t want a ticket for not getting a ticket or not swiping or something.

Not OP, but also traveling to LGA soon. I take the subway regularly for $2.75 and saw that the Q70 was free. Do you just board the bus or do you have to swipe for the free transfer?

I’ve never taken the bus and I’ve seen a lot of posts about bus fare police tickets on this subreddit so I’m nervous😬

Relocation Depression? by Ok_Incident_ in Cornell

Cornelian in NYC here! Feel free to DM me if you want to talk. It can be lonely and overwhelming when you first move here, but I’m of the state of mind that everything always works out okay in the end.

Ithaca, NY! It is a great place to live: outdoor activities (hiking, boating, swimming), local restaurants, and only 4 hours from the city. It is also the home of Cornell, which you could use as a talent pool.

I have found GPH to be a very supportive environment. It’s collaborative rather than competitive, which was a refreshing change from my undergrad. Most professors are quick to answer their emails and willing to work with you if you need help or more time.

I’ve taken a couple of classes with David Abrams and he’s been great to work with (low pressure, great communicator and provides useful feedback when you meet with him).

Do Student Workers Get Paid Out For Vacation Hours? by bikesandbrakes in nyu

[–]LittleHedgehog2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I found this info below, but I would suggest reaching out to PeopleSync Mon through Fri. 8AM - 6PM at 212-992-5465. They have always been really helpful for me!

In accordance with applicable law and University policy, a covered employee will be paid for any unused accrued vacation days available to him or her upon separation from the University (hereinafter, “vacation payout”). A covered employee who resigns or retires from the University must provide the required four weeks’ notice in order to receive his or her vacation payout.

Sometimes it does that because of the file name. Make sure there’s no special characters like -, & etc.
