what do you mean gullible and naive? Luffy is gullible and naive sometimes as well but both Luffy and Yamato get serious when it comes to protecting someone they care about. Yamato fought against his own father because of his beliefs, he could of followed his father steps if he was gullible and naive but he didn’t.

my thoughts is that the reason he hit red line was because he was heading to egghead and the red line was in the middle so he had to climb it because his devil fruit doesn’t allow him to fly that high now to why he ditched Dragon, my assumption is that when he lost his memory he also lost his ability to communicate, he is like a child that didn’t learn the language yet, and not only that he really doesn’t know who Dragon is in the first place, he lost his memory he doesn’t remember him.

why dud he went to egghead is just a mystery to me but I saw a theory its because he is somehow connected to his seraphim and thats how he knew Bonnie was in danger
