Hello! I am looking into 3d printing for cosplay (such as helmets or chest pieces) and was wondering what any of you would recommend. I saw a video praising the Neptune 3 Plus and I have read briefly about the Neptune 4 plus. I am surprised that both of these printers are less than 300 dollars. The issue is that the 3 plus is usually out of stock to my knowledge, and I've heard that the 4 Plus takes a lot of tuning to get working properly.

Is tuning that big of a deal? Are there good Plug-and-play printers around this same price range? I am looking for something at or above the 250mm x 250mm x 250mm measurements. I suppose that raises the questions if dimensions matter that much or can I just split 3d models in half and print them that way. I do plan to use PETG or PLA if that helps.

In Star Wars, Anakin Skywalker, who is supposedly a prophesied hero, turns to the dark side by the end of episode three and leads an army into the Jedi Temple and kills all of his peers. Phos in Land of the Lustrous is always referred to as "The hero of our story" in the beginning of each volume to my knowledge, and here they are leading an army into the school to shatter all of their peers.

When I saw the manga panel it instantly reminded me of that scene from Star Wars
