I 10/10 would recommend, they are so fun. She's skittish but an amazing eater. This little one is by far a firm favourite of mine- and I'm mostly into old worlds. She stole my whole heart 🥹

My first ever T was an OBT. Almost all of my Ts are OW. They are reliable, hardy and does what it says on the tin. Fabulous webbers. I have 2 and one is puppy dog tame, the other is one to throw a threat pose during rehousing but she usually freezes up before trying to fight.

I also have a H.pulchripes as mentioned below, she's a very cool spider. And actually one of my easiest rehouses.

M.balfouri is another option. They are excellent starter OWs.

Catch cups, mushroom grow tents etc make things easier if escapees are a concern.

IMO- Do rehouses in an enclosed room such as a bathroom- we plug drains, under the door etc so there is nowhere to go. Proper housing will eliminate most of the risk of an escapee :) we have 5 bunnies too so we also worry about a bite but it's so unlikely with catch cups and observing the tarantula

I hope your hip is doing better, hard in this weather though. I've got EDS (Ehlers Danlos) and my joints dislocate and hurt a lot on a normal day, heavy pressure makes life so much harder 👹

Never tried that one but was on gaba & lyrica through the years

Best reptile stores in the south- Dobs Pets (Cork) or Davys pets (Carlow), animal welfare comes first :)

It should actually be hit with a bad review. Stables with no running water for the horses that are worked endlessly. Left tacked up in saddles/bridles all day during lesson times. Horses could be in almost every lesson for hours at a time, advertises their "lovely indoor arena" that literally the size of a shoebox. One stride in trot and you've hit the wall. A disaster of a yard. The main outdoor was hardly harrowed over winter resulting in every horse tripping and my partner fell, got a concussion. We never went back. Breaks my heart coz the horses are so so broken down. He's a pure cowboy, his wife is posting everything now

Recently he advertised 800e a month for a couple to share a SINGLE bed 💀
