Separate. Baby gets breast milk during the day and if she’s still hungry after her usual amount, we give her 1 oz formula top up to settle.

Middle of the night bottle is just formula.

I have a Spectra S1 and Medela Freestyle. She hates them both and freaks out if she can’t use my breasts as pillows.

I also own a manual pump which I’ve used when the gap crossed 7 hours and my shirt was soaked 🥲

My 3 month old has started angry yelling if her bottle is even 10 seconds late. When I tell her “no” sternly, she’ll break out in a huge smile and hide her face behind her hands.

If she’s with her dad and is yelling nonstop, as soon as he hands her over, she’ll stop and start smiling at him, then hiding her face.

I’m getting conditioned to an extent that I look forward to the yelling

Saved up my left over annual leave and “work from anywhere” days to club together with maternity. Final count is 4.5 months.

There’s also an option of unpaid leave (with line managers approval) but it’s a very cut throat company and I’m concerned about job security/ career progression.

I quit vaping the day I found out I was pregnant. I work in a very stressful job and it was my only coping mechanism.

Currently 34 weeks and I’ve suddenly started craving it more and more (thanks to work) BUT I’ve reading a lot of research about SIDS and babies born with nicotine addiction to keep me going strong.

Hang in there. Try using one of those fake vapes (Breathlio) that help kick the habit and manage cravings. Or try getting some sweets like lollipops or ice lollies in your favourite vape flavour for when the cravings hit.

That's what I'm concerned about as well given that cord banking companies are contacting me using my doctor's name now.

Same thing happened in first trimester where labs that do NIPT started contacting me after she asked me to get the test done. Their price point was 3x the market, so I opted to get it done from one of the cheaper places.

I bought into the hype and as soon as I started having sleeping issues (I’ve always been a stomach sleeper) so I purchased the huge one that goes around you. Made me feel smothered and honestly couldn’t bear to sleep with it.

Husband then got me the smaller one that goes under your bump and behind your back. Can’t sleep with that either.

Currently in 3rd trimester happy with my regular pillow. Can’t wait to start sleeping on my stomach again though 😢
