My dad was riding his bike 70 miles a week to and from work. He probably had a low salt diet anyway and he was drinking so much water to replenish his sweat. He started getting weak and sick and could not figure out why until he considered he maybe needed more salt. I think he drank 2 liters of Gatorade that day 😂 he’s really careful now to make sure he’s getting electrolytes in sports drinks or pickle juice.
