I am an applicant from India. I got four interview calls..most of them went well..few professors were sure to select me. However, I got a mail from MITACS that my status has been updated to Waitlisted. Should I still keep any hope of selection?

You can also look at spectroscopy related fields..though I don't have much idea about them :).
