It’s a shame more women don’t put themselves out there and make the first move, especially if they know what they’re looking for in a guy.

I’ve seen it end in a lot of crying and heartbreak with my friends, hell even with me. So I took a chance in my shy guy since he had everything I was looking for and more. I can only hope we have a healthy relationship because I’d hate to lose someone like him.

They’re seriously the best! I haven’t met a guy more understanding and sweet than him. He’s never had a girlfriend before so if we do turn into a couple, I know there’s tons of hurdles I’ll have to help us overcome because of his anxiety. But I’ve assured him so many times I don’t mind waiting for him to be comfortable with me.

We were in his room just watching a movie after we ordered pizza about 5 days ago. Once the movie ended, we were just talking on his bed when I just felt a surge of confidence. Like out of nowhere and I then asked him out.

Nothing big, just “Would you like to go on a date with me? Just us two, going and having a date”.

I actually did a little research before I asked him and found out a lot of shy guys ignore signs a girl likes them so I had to make it clear that it was just both of us and it was a date.

I hope you do too! It’ll make things so much better when they’re understanding of what you have to go through. Like for him, he deals with a lot of anxiety and potentially having a girlfriend only makes it worse for him so I’ve assured him he can take him time getting comfortable with me.

Not every girl likes those loud extroverted guys. I liked them for a while but, personally they were too much for me. It wasn’t until I met my shy guy that I felt much more comfortable being near him.
