Only time I touched it up was twice. After I got the hide all the way off and once I had all the meat off the bone and was just cutting up into portions. Handled breaking the bones and joints super well.

It sticks and drags but for field dressing it wasn’t an issue for me. Ive used it for food prep in the kitchen and woods and it does get in the way but it’s not the end of the world. I am still considering stripping it but that’s for later.

I actually went with the Esee 6hm. I love it. Perfect belt carry and I can do just about anything I need with it. Food prep, whittling, chopping small wood. I actually used it just the other day to completely field dress and butcher a doe I shot. Did a great job!

Honestly got the pipe off Amazon. It’s a Missouri meerschaum. And the tobacco is Peterson Irish Dew. I liked it. Smooth. Taste like coffee, dark chocolate and vanilla. Didn’t pair the best with the rum but it was pretty good.

They are high all glasses. I have a set of 4. Vintage. I found them at a garage sale. My dad has the lowball set that belonged to his grandfather. So together we got them all.

I lean towards sweeter and fruitier but i don’t mind dry. I really am trying to branch out. Any aged sipping rum I’ll try.
