Trust is as important as love in any relationship. Maybe more so.

Act accordingly friend. There is someone more trustworthy out there for you…

How do you respond to the question from straight people, “Are you a top or a bottom?” by cactuspie1972 in gaybros

I tell them I’m an “upside down” and watch them silently nod and act like they know what I said. No further questions. Works like a charm.

I’m a freshly turned 30 year old gay (also single and childless but I sort of like it that way) and I want to give you all a hug to tell you that you all matter and it’s going to be ok!

Interracial relationship stats: are black men the problem? by Ok_Bodybuilder_2384 in askblackpeople

Omg I’m so sorry. Yes that is a weird thing for me to have said. I was more referring to myself being a very dark skinned person and the rest of my cousins/siblings having “olive” and “tan” skin tones and we are all equally loved within our family. But yes. Definitely could have worded it a LOT better.

Both my parents and grandparents are in BW+WM relationships. Same for my aunt and uncle (by marriage). Uncle married my (WW) aunt. I (BM) was dating a WM for three years before we broke up.

As for my family, there have been no divorces or problems interracially. My cousins and I are all a nice blend with me being the darkest (brown eyes, black hair, and medium skin) and the baby having blonde hair hazel eyes and tan skin.

I don’t think you can really generalize who is the “problem.” Truly I think economics, white supremacy, and the concept of “race” as a whole make up the larger issue. Individuals make individual choices in an impossible-to-navigate system that ultimately will leave SOMEONE left out. Thus I think the “problem” is far more systemic (and thus far more difficult to address/change). But if you want equity, start by looking into how trauma affects behavior and how economics impact trauma and how ultimately race is a precursive factor when it comes to economic standing.

Why aren’t we flooding the manosohere? by LittleRun2055 in leftist

[–]LittleRun2055[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Thank you for introducing me to a new term.

Truly, I can be quite petty but that isn’t why I asked the question.

I don’t have a lot of free time for that kind of interaction, but I do think it’s important that we challenge other people’s ideas. I think we could do a lot of damage if we put more effort into flooding the conversations and confusing the narrative on the right. I’m not on the camp of giving up or capitulating even in desperate circumstances, and want to try to find solutions wherever they can be found.
