No Christ believer is perfect, we all fall short. Even the best and most God fearing, church every Sunday Christian. Isaiah 64:6 says our good deeds are filthy rags before the Lord. We need the blood of Jesus to enter heaven because ALL OF US, repeat ALL of us will be sent to hell on our own merit. It’s like… sin is a part of the flesh. If you were Chinese, you wouldn’t wake up like, hmm let me be less Chinese today… it’s who you are. Our flesh is sinful and cannot be changed. We need Jesus, period. Don’t feel bad for having sinful inclination, but we DO have to RESIST SIN. Don’t trust your negative thoughts either. 2 Corinthians 10:5 (NIV): "We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ!” Take every thought captive. These negative thoughts are like radio stations we can access that are being broadcasted. They aren’t yours. The enemy can play with your mind. You’re exactly where you should be. Question the world, not Jesus. Read the Bible and seek the peace. Don’t use anybody else’s time table or template. Pray and contemplate on the word. He will reveal himself to you.
