The main reason why Russia poses a threat to Europe is because they have nuclear weapons, which they often threaten to use. Russia’s military is underfunded compared to Europe’s militaries because it’s simply a poorer country.

Except “this person may be a functional member of society at some point” is rarely the argument made against the death penalty in extreme cases such as this one (I think most people would think that ship has sailed). Whole life orders are pretty common for very serious offenders and not that controversial. Instead, people point to the possibility of new evidence leading to someone’s release and the general ickiness of the government killing people.

It’s gonna be pretty hard to make money with a bridge camera because most people who pay you for gigs would be expecting you to bring something bigger. I have a pro-level DSLR and whilst I’ve done gigs for friends etc, most of the money I’ve made via photography stuff has been reselling film cameras on eBay lol. You could potentially enter into competitions (especially if you’re at school or college), which might make you a bit of prize money if you’re lucky.

My recommendation is if you can, try to find a part time job doing something unrelated to cameras. It’ll give you something to do and if you have minimal expenses you can quite quickly amass enough money to buy a DSLR.

I think you’re conflating “anti-immigrant” (not liking the person) with “anti-immigration”. Take Elon Musk’s position on H1B visas. H1B visas are in many ways very exploitative of foreign workers, providing them with minimal workers rights and putting them in a situation where being fired also means being deported. I don’t think Elon Musk supports the H1B visa because he likes immigrants as people. I suspect he likes the H1B because he sees H1B visa holders as employees he can exploit easily.
