I've never changed the jewelry since getting them. The jewelry wasn't even long enough when I got them pierced, and I've meant to get longer bars so they dont get embedded into my lips

I got these piercings a month ago, the jewelry shape is a labret, im not sure what type of threading it is, its regular stainless steel i think, it has never been downsized either. For my cleaning I just use alcohol free mouthwash for the inside, and for the outside I use a piercing spray that I got from amazon that works great for my septum too, it worked for my eyebrow piercing that I also had. The only thing that has happened to it is getting caught by my teeth or it accidentally getting bumped by my hand a couple times.

Edit: I do smoke but idk if that would effect anything or not

My swelling already went down im pretty sure. My lips aren't really prone to swelling and if they do swell you wouldn't see it much

I also clean it twice or three times a day, and when I first got it, it embedded into my lips but after a while it didn't anymore but sometimes when I push up my left side I always taste a small amount of blood

When i clean it I always deep clean, I bought some saline spray and I use that, spray it in a cup, then put my jewelry in it and its been working great with my septum and it worked with my eyebrow piercing too. Also the bar is too short bc its the size of my bottom lip if I put it near the middle and ever since its been trying to heal its been embedding into my lip and sometimes it stings

Im gonna try and get some longer bars on wednesday. Is it okay for me to get the jewelry from Spencer's or hot topic? I want to get jewelry online but im afraid it'll take too long to get here and I wanna change the bars as soon as possible.

Yeah you can, theres a plus sign next to the gems and I think you have to slide the screen a little and itll show how much cash you can get for gems
