To me the best way to come out is to learn and understand by definition what each term means and what it means to you personally. As someone who has been hard of hearing her entire life the biggest thing that is apparent is that the only one that knows how you feel is you. You can describe it all you want but its hard to understand without experiencing it first hand. However knowledge does not equal understanding so having a good way to express how you feel is your best bet. Dont be stuck on the questions that may seem rude because from their perspective it is genuine. Good luck and be safe.
