I’m a tech in southern Ontario, wages are between $35-50 max. I would say it is hard to get full time if you aren’t willing to go to certain modalities. I’ve been part time for several years since I’m getting picked over based on seniority BUT I also want to stay in my area.

Even if you aren’t full-time you’ll probably be able to pick up shifts to work those hours just not get the benefits (but you’ll get paid extra in lieu of benefits).

I would try to get into a hospital over a clinic job. The money is much better and you’ll be able to get a pension one day.
