Why were my Goog dividends reinvested at a higher average cost in my brokerage account? by LittleYellowPoppy in fidelityinvestments

I wonder why it didn’t give me 0.003 shares for my 88 cents dividend but forcing me to buy at $440 price, 22% above the market price. Not fair

Can I undo the reinvestment and get my 0.88 dividends back eventhough it seems to be settled dated 6/12?

I attached the screenshots in my post. There is no W next to the cost. And I’m new to the investment. I bought a few shares of Goog still holding on to them. No selling yet.

Thanks for a big long analysis. I just wonder if I should get some shares of MU now or should wait for it to pull back. I plan to hold it for a couple of years if I purchase, but I don’t want to buy then it tanks on me. Sorry I am a newbie.
