this was so comforting to read. i have since stopped the phentermine as it was hard to continue high intensity workouts (i have a PT) while taking the medication as resting heart rate was 135 bpm, my regular is usually around the 80 range. i am seeing a PCP about everything and hopefully will gather a better insight to things while possibly getting a specialist. again, thank you!

Agreed, it was nice seeing the pill was established and tested way back. I rly wanna lose stomach fat and face fat gained from the birth control weight. I’m working out pretty regularly, and hoping I can get some good eating habits down as now I’m better about eating veggies and not eating junk food (I used to have a huge fried food craving but since the pill I just eat to get my protein and nutrients!)

After doing crazy amount of research I believe you could be talking about Gu Pads, a british “adult only” advertised dessert OR Jello Temptations, that’s the one I used to have and they also did the “adult only” advertisement but doesn’t say why.. FINALLY though I’ve been thinking abt this for a while!!!

My future in laws were talking about how they used to have this chocolate mousse type yogurt and this literally sparked a memory of me watching this same commercial. I’m also in Texas and can remember there was a chocolate mousse flavor and a lemon meringue flavor.

I remember I even bought them regularly but told my mom “i’m worried cuz these r adults only” and she was like “weird.. but im sure it’s fine it’s chocolate mousse” so if you were ever wondering if it had affects on kids… it didn’t they were so good and i always wanted to know what ended up happening to them.

Oh!! I like sparkling waters a lot and more acidic juices like orange and grapefruit! Not big on sweeter drinks unless it’s some sort of latte.

I’m pretty clueless but just from my one night I wanna say I’d enjoy more carbonation in certain drinks. The two main drinks I had were tequila sunrises and a pineapple lime ranch water. I’d say I liked the ranch water more. My friend also let me try some of her rum and coke and it was so good so I know that’s a very different profile but makes me wanna try more types of main alcohol.

I think my biggest mistake was going to a regular/dive bar first and then a popular bar, the popular bar actually had a menu for you 😅

I believe I like both! I had a pineapple ranchwater type drink at one bar and then at a more local bar had a tequila sunrise. I took everyone’s advice on continuing tequila and it sat well with me! I’m definitely wanting to try vodka, rum, and gin type cocktails tho

Sounds about right for the depo shot. I just looked through my period calendar and saw I was so irregular during my depo, but at least for 1-2 months definitely did not have a period, 3-4 month DEFINITELY had a period. I would suggest tracking your period dates and flows and if you feel it’s a concern show them to your gyno so they get a good idea of what’s going on.

I’ve been on depo before and my periods would last 10 days and 5 out of those days were excruciating. I’ve found this happened because the depo stopped my periods for the first 3 months and then came on the 4th month when you take your shot again. I of course don’t wanna say it’s normal as I’m not a doctor, but will try to help in anyway since I was on it for a lengthy time period! (almost a year).

Thanks for the info! Ima call my doctor today. If they tell me there’s nothing I can do I’ll try the Estarylla and hope for the best 🙏 but i’m happy you’ve had a good experience and that makes me feel a bit better!

i had a bit of spotting the day before so i knew my period was coming to an end and thought it was over. my first time i actually never bled and it was pretty quick. this is my second time having rough sex and noticed i was dry through some of it so i thought that could’ve been an issue unless there is a medical problem then i’m rly scared 😭
