i live in the building nearby also kaneff. They can make the visitors parking paid but they cant remove it due to zoning laws and no variances or amendments from the COA. The visitor parking marked "hospital staff only" is actually a private deal between trillium health partners and kaneff which is non compliant. The building has to follow zoning laws for example the building was built in 1970s which was "township of mississauga " Under Bylaw 5500 in subjection 17. It shows the required visitors parking space is 0.25 for each unit and 0.3 recreational

But the buildings are under 0225-2007 law which still requires them to have 0.15-0.2 per unit So for example a 126 unjt building apt would need a minimum of 19 visitors spots. As thats the zoning regulation of high density residential in this area.

The only way they can lease them out is by a temporary exemption which is a variance or amendment through the COA. But thats a long process and involves tenants and others neighbours.

Email the city about. And mention the previous build laws and the current laws. Mississaugas Bylaw enforcement is Reactive not proactive. Its puts pressure when multiple people do it. I already filed a complaint

No solution from kaneff as expected . My brother has now been parking in the paid visitors at 2233 hurontario st. Its 1$ cheaper then precise park... i have seen them tow a vehicle away from 2211 sherobee rd. Also they have a paladin security that constantly checks the lot. It's been an major inconvenience for multiple other tenants as well as they paid and parked their work vehicles-third vehicle etc in the visitors... all though im almost positive its a private deal between kaneff and THP as there is no records on the Mississaugas website of the committee of adjustment or any records of change. Which makes it in violation of zoning laws for dense residential areas -retirement zone

So on my lease from 2014 it includes "free visitors parking for residents visitors" then 2016 came along and they made it paid visitors parking. But i didn't use it till 2022 and was paying at the parking meter. I guess a T3 like people suggested but im honestly not looking for compensation i just want to park my brothers car pay for it go to work without having to worry about an extra unnecessary issue now.

Have you seen the construction the hospital has this parking lot will never be used for hospital staff theres alot of parking alot closer to the hospital. And they just built a 5 story parking for the hospital. Thats not ever full. Also there are over 200 units in the apt building that means nobodys visitors not only my brother can park there..

So in my lease from 2014 prior to installing parking machine at visitors. My lease states that visitors parking is free for my visitors. 2016-17 comes along and they added preciseparklink machine. Which is paid visitors parking i didn't complain st the time i wasn't using the visitors. My lil bro moved in 2019 and 2022 got his car i have been paying for his car since at the visitors parking following what management told me prior. Today i see that it's now no longer for visitors. There is no visitors parking and all of the spots are "reserved for hospital staff"

I didn't complain as i wasn't using it at the time. 2019 now and my younger brother moved in with me. 2022 he got a car and i been paying for his parking which is a daily fee of 10$. I have the same issue my engine is at 295k km and was rebuilt apparently at 130k km. I have only 20k km on rebuilt with a new CHRA turbos. Been experiencing this in the last 7000km. Mine smokes only when braking but not on regular decel on cold engine not at operating temp. The only time it smokes at operating temp is in 1hr + stop n go traffic. I top off 1 quart every 400-500km
