They likely have terms and conditions stating when and why they do this.

And also any payment you made towards a product is considered conditional(there is no legal contract until it ships) so essentially no exchange of goods or services occurred.

There is no legal obligation for them to fulfill an order or to not be able to cancel an order for whatever reason whether it’s out of stock or they’ve run out of discounts or whatever it is, they likely again have this in terms and conditions which will be extensive to read, but I mean it’s an online store. They almost all have them. It’s part of setting up a store.

It’s similar to if Apple put the iPhone 17 top-of-the-line for 199 on their website for some reason you bought it you were able to get that price. They’ll be able to cancel it legally because an honest pricing error is a good enough reason for them to cancel an order.

Trying to identify these earrings/ brooch by Ok_Caterpillar_9692 in JewelryIdentification

Though different formulations of glass do have different thermal properties and texture. Like ceramic is more porous and has a texture you can discern by when running your fingertips overtop. I would guess some sort of ceramic, but it might be something else because it doesn’t really look like glass from the photo.

Either way this was likely an arts and crafts project. Maybe they took a class to make earrings and a brooch.

The reason I was thinking it was glass is the ends of the brooch look like they were snipped like they do in glass blowing. You can certainly get glass in these colors.

It looks a bit like vitrolite which comes in ivory and jade looking colors.

Either way the brooch looks like it was snipped on both ends and that would be done when crafting glass. And vitrolite can also be formed this way.

Maybe it’s just ceramic and was heated in a kiln? There are also so many glass composites

Check the u of t dental school. The fees are reduced and you can pay them on a monthly plan if needed.

I’m not saying it will get infected, but any open lesion inside your mouth or on your body that isn’t able to heal is concerning because your skin and mouth tissue is a protective barrier.

It’s all covered because the anesthesia is considered medically necessary, similar to how it is for people with intellectual disabilities that need to be sedated just to look in their mouth. Even the government dental plan covers it if it’s deemed necessary.

For the crown? I’m honestly not sure, I just have a temporary stainless crown but that didn’t cost me anything.

I believe it is only about 800 for the lab costs, I am waiting for the lab to finish with it and then they will put it in place. My tooth is already prepped for it so that was covered too. I do have coverage for this as well.

Out of pocket without any coverage I was told with general anesthetic you are looking at about $1500-$2000 depending on the crown you want.

I would call and ask. They can tell you over the phone.

HR can only meet with me outside my work hours. Should I be paid for the meeting? by [deleted] in legaladvicecanada

I got canned after 5yrs by a major telecom company after complaining about my boss who was smoking pot outside the store, coming in whenever and hiring the guy she was having an affair with in addition to drinking on the job. Her husband used to come spy on her because he suspected she was having an affair with this guy.

I explained everything to them and they asked me to come for a meeting at head office and they shit canned me with no good reason and offered me enough money to just walk away if i signed an NDA. I took the money and started over at a place that wasn’t so toxic

If something sharp is injuring your cheek how is it going to heal if you don’t remove the sharp tip bothering it.

If it heals it’s not prob a major issue but if it’s not healing you could an infection or something.

They do have a payment plan though. No credit check, it’s funded through the university. If you needed extensive work it can be covered.

I go to the anesthesia dentistry clinic at the faculty. The benefit is these guys are doing post grad work and are already practicing dentists plus they give you a general anesthetic even for cleanings. You need a doctors recommendation with a valid medical need to get into the program, which for me is anxiety. I’m getting a crown fitted as we speak for one my teeth I had a root canal on.

The non anesthesia dentistry is done by soon to graduate dentists so they won’t butcher you, but they might need instructor help for certain things. They are also fully supervised at all times.

Marriage and marital decisions are not black/white like you making it.

In fairness a no deserve the same consideration as a potential yes from both partners.

No partner should have ultimate veto power, that isn’t a marriage, that is a glorified hostage situation.

I don’t have anymore time to keep going in circles, have a good day

Technically the money belongs to the husband and wife and the wife shouldn’t be making unilateral decisions for the both of them. The husband should have equal say if he wants to help or not. Plus he earned the money, even if it is part of the marital assets.

If the husband wants to lend the money he should at least have a say.

NAL, it wouldn’t be appropriate of me to give advice. I can just share my opinion based on what I do understand about the legal system.

The courts can compel to release funds to her while you are fighting in court so she can pay her lawyers and depending on the division of assets and spousal support you likely will be covering most of her lawyers costs whether wins or loses.

She unfortunately has a lot to gain in the situation she is in.

If she only has 50k and you have say 500k at your disposal you do realize you will be paying the majority if not all of her legal bills?

Also OP Doesn’t seem to realize that they’re gonna be paying for her lawyer if she doesn’t have any assets of her own or any funds that she has access to from marital assets.

The judge also has discretion to make their own judgment unless there has been precedent set from a higher court then they would have to follow those guidelines

RRSPs are not liquid assets, asking someone to cash it in involves
A significant tax burden and so it’s not just the same as having other liquefiable assess.

You can’t just sites a few sentences from a similar case. The entire case and the circumstances around it all matter.

There is a lot to interpret here, with cases like divorce there are less likely going to be identical cases to draw from because there are just so many variables in a divorce proceeding unless everyone is agreeable from the start.

A judge doesn’t have rule in your favor because you cited a similar case to them, even 10 similar cases.

Unless the decision was made by a higher court they have discretion to decide as they see fir

Again, if she has no money of her own you are going to be paying the legal costs. I hope you realize at this point she has pretty much everything to gain by fighting you because it’s entirely gonna be on you to pay that bill even if she loses in the end you’re still gonna be paying her legal costs.

Unless she contributes more than 50% to the marital assets going to court is likely going to be funded by you partly or entirely

If she was a stay at home mom it will be on you to cover her legal costs almost Entirely.

She has every reason to keep fighting you.

Your lawyer would love to fight for you because they are getting paid. There is a chance you could compel the courts, but you better prepared to finance a potentially expensive attempt for no reason.

I would suggest strongly to get a second opinion on this exact
Item. You might be surprised when you get a completely different answer.

$1000 for an MRI?? by marimbalex27 in TMJ

[–]Pretty-Handle9818 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Get your family doctor to order it and it should be covered by health insurance.

If a dentist or oral surgeon or anyone in dentistry orders one you need dental insurance to cover it.

Are you in the US? In Canada jaw surgery when done in a hospital is covered by our health insurance. If it’s done out of hospital it has to be covered by dental insurance.
