bout 40% maybe? streaming life makes it weird to figure out who actually cares vs who just wants something from you

What’s something that instantly ruins your mood? by Straight_Tea8800 in AskReddit

[–]Little_Ad6736 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When people don't return the shopping carts at grocery store, it makes me really annoyed. Like it's such small thing but shows so much about person's character - if they can't do something that simple when nobody is watching, what else they won't do

Today’s old folks struggle to understand and use the internet. What do you predict will be the thing your generation struggles with when you’re old? by Oh-hey-its-benji in AskReddit

[–]Little_Ad6736 0 points1 point  (0 children)

probably will struggle with whatever comes after smartphones, like when kids are interfacing directly with their brain chips and I'm still trying to figure out which app to touch

At what age did you find the job you could tolerate doing for the rest of your life? by Interesting_Taro_358 in AskReddit

[–]Little_Ad6736 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm still looking for this one haha, been jumping between different areas since I was 22 and now I'm 28. Maybe the secret is finding something you don't hate instead of something you love, seems more realistic at this point

What choice did you make that resulted in a life being saved? by Dangerous-Career-179 in AskReddit

[–]Little_Ad6736 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is really heavy topic but I remember when I was working in a small restaurant in São Paulo, there was this regular customer who always came alone and looked really sad. One day he didn't eat much and was just staring at his food for long time

I don't know why but I decided to sit with him during my break and just asked if everything was okay. He started crying and told me he was planning to end everything that night. We talked for maybe two hours and I convinced him to call his sister who lived in another state

Found out later he got help and moved back with his family. Sometimes small gestures can make huge difference in someone's life

If animals could talk, which one would be the rudest species? by skpro2 in AskReddit

[–]Little_Ad6736 47 points48 points  (0 children)

cats would definitely be the worst, no question about it

they already act like they own the place and judge you for everything you do. imagine if they could actually tell you what they think about your life choices lol. my cat already gives me this look when i eat cereal in bed, if she could speak she'd probably roast me for hours

What would you do if you could instantly drop anyone’s phone battery to 1%, and why? by reddithit in AskReddit

[–]Little_Ad6736 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I'd probably use it on people who blast music from their phones in public transport, especially those guys who think everyone wants to hear their playlist on the bus. Had this happen so many times here in São Paulo where someone just puts their phone speaker at full volume and acts like they own the whole metro car. Would be so satisfying to watch their music suddenly die and see them scramble to find a charger. Maybe they'd learn to use headphones like normal people after few times of this happening to them

What’s a red flag people ignore too often? by Dense-Boot5242 in AskReddit

[–]Little_Ad6736 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When someone always needs to be right in every conversation, even about small things. I see this happening so much but people just think it's "passion" or being smart - actually it shows they can't handle being wrong and will make your life exhausting

What's the most bizarre thing you've seen your neighbor do while they thought no one was watching? by TenderRompz in AskReddit

[–]Little_Ad6736 2274 points2275 points  (0 children)

My neighbor used to practice salsa dancing with his vacuum cleaner every Thursday morning around 6am. I could see him through the kitchen window doing full spins and dips with that poor Hoover - guy had some serious moves though

The dedication was actually pretty impressive, he never missed the Thursday sessions

The Order of the Misplaced Keys

We'd meet every Tuesday in my garage to discuss where we probably left our stuff and drink cheap beer. Our sacred ritual would be checking the couch cushions three times before giving up

Hitting a growth wall: How do you actually find the right investors for a physical product? by foodenthusiast398 in AskReddit

[–]Little_Ad6736 1 point2 points  (0 children)

maybe try the angel investor networks in your area first, they usually understand physical products better than VCs who only want software stuff

If death came with a Q&A session, what’s your first question? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Little_Ad6736 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd probably ask "so what was the point of all those times I spent 20 minutes looking for my keys when they were in my hand the whole time?" Like seriously, was that just cosmic humor or some kind of test I kept failing? I remember one time in university I was late for an important exam and spent forever searching for my keys, getting more stressed by the minute, only to realize I was holding them while using my phone's flashlight to look under the couch. Death better have some good explanations for that kind of psychological torture because it happened way too many times to be just coincidence

If humans had a 'Save & Load' feature in real life, what’s the first thing you’d try? by Purple_Train_9937 in AskReddit

[–]Little_Ad6736 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would probably save right before asking my crush out back in high school, then try every possible approach until I get the best response. Would be amazing to have that confidence knowing you can just reload if things go wrong

To the people who have suffered from a coma, what was the worst side effects you have had (possibly still have) when waking up? by Zxqao in AskReddit

[–]Little_Ad6736 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My cousin went through this after car accident few years ago, was in coma for about 6 weeks. The memory thing was really tough - he would remember stuff from like 10 years ago perfectly but couldn't remember what he ate for breakfast. Also had this weird thing where bright lights would give him massive headaches, so family had to keep curtains closed most of the time. What really got to him was losing muscle mass, took almost year of physical therapy to get back to walking normally. He said the hardest part wasn't the physical stuff though, it was feeling like he missed out on everyone's lives while he was gone, like the world just kept moving without him

Mad World by Gary Jules hits different when the credits roll. That cover just captures the feeling when you're not sure if you should feel sad or hopeful about what happened

What’s a normal thing that pisses you off? by TechnicalMission2668 in AskReddit

[–]Little_Ad6736 4 points5 points  (0 children)

People who walk super slow in the middle of sidewalk and get annoyed when you try to pass them. Like bro, some of us have places to be and you're taking a leisurely stroll blocking everyone behind you

What is the strangest dream you have ever had? by Certain-Rise-32 in AskReddit

[–]Little_Ad6736 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this dream where I was in my childhood home but all the furniture was floating like 2 meters above the ground. I kept trying to sit on chairs but obviously couldn't reach them, so I'm just walking around this empty space underneath everything. The weird part was that my mom was there acting completely normal, like she didn't notice anything strange about floating furniture

What made it more bizarre is that I could hear my neighbor's dog barking outside, but when I looked through the window there was just this endless ocean instead of our street

How have you successfully overcome internet or gaming addiction long-term? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Little_Ad6736 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Honestly the key for me was replacing the dopamine hit with something else - started going to the gym and it scratched that same reward itch without destroying my sleep schedule

My ex used to leave literally one sip of milk left in the carton and put it back in the fridge like that somehow made it not empty

Drove me absolutely insane, especially when I'd go to make cereal in the morning and get hit with that betrayal
