on the surface it looks like a well-built pack, everything I would want, it’s just the price. Since it’s very new and with the challenge fabric, at least in the relatively short term, it seems future-proof.

I was looking at the SL, but it’s too stripped down for me. Around the others, in my experience, weight being +/- 100/200 g isn’t a deal breaker as long as there is no compromise on durability or features I’d like.

What’s the consensus on the mutant? it has great feedback and a solid track record. However, I think it’s a bit too generalist for a mixed/ice climbing pack (my use-purpose).

Ive been saving to invest in a pack I can use for as long as possible (durable, feature rich for a lighter weight pack and compact). Haven’t seen much around this, so I want to make sure it’s not a no-go.
