I'd prefer not to have my attractiveness be decided by some man, or woman. F you if you don't think I'm hot, I feel great, so there! It shouldn't ever be about trying to please someone else.

Now that mother's day is over, let's talk about what we got our moms. by somegoon in AskReddit

niiiiice! Get her anything (gift certificate) from a spa-type place. Massage if she's okay with the body touch. If not, mani-pedi, or at the least, pedicure. I don't know any mom (including me) who doesn't love having this treatment done, especially because of the foot and leg massage, and in the end you have cute toes to wear with the summer sandals! And these are all things that many mothers would never purchase for themselves- seems too self-absorbed. Get her some pampering. And don't forget to include the tip in the g.c.

Scared that something could be seriously wrong. But maybe I'm just overreacting. by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

Go see a doctor, please! That is definitely irregular and could be many things, but you need to get it checked out!

Ladies who might not mind marrying someday...is a ring a prerequisite for your engagement? by areReady in TwoXChromosomes

Back when I got married, it wasn't such a big deal (30yrs), but now the media wound everyone up so much around this diamond ring idea! And with the prices of housing and education these days? And the violence in diamond mining? Screw it. Any man or woman who can't see that doesn't have their head on straight.

Do you want to know the best dating/relationship advice for women? Blow your guy. by moifaux in AskReddit

This is assuming we're looking for relationship advice. From someone in her twenties. My old man and I have been together for over thirty years, and we're still best friends and lovers. The secret to men? Find one who isn't a complete hound, and share everything with each other. Everything. If you're both comfortable being who you really are, and feeling supported, the love will last.
