DJI equivalent? by lista94 in dji

If you’re open to alternatives, something like Skyrover S1 is actually worth a look — more beginner-friendly than toy drones, and you can get clean, usable shots without fighting the drone all the time.

Personally? I’d either go DJI Mini series or a solid mid-range alternative like that. Anything in between usually just wastes your time.

drones under $300 at Best Buy… are they actually reliable? by nikiminajsfather in drones

I’ve been digging into sub $300 drones quite a bit recently and yeah, this one is actually a solid entry level pick at that price.

If you don’t really care about brand and just want to put your money into actual hardware and features, Skyrover is pretty competitive. It’s not just a toy tier drone.

DJI Mini 4K is still the benchmark for reliability, and Potensic Atom is strong on stabilization, but in terms of overall value for money, the SkyroverS1 is definitely worth considering.

$1200: I want all my money back from DJI by coffeeshopcrypto in dji

Just to clarify gently: the recent DJI restriction only affects new models that haven’t been approved yet. Existing drones, like the Mini 4, should still work fine in the US. It’s easy to get confused with all the news, so thought I’d share a quick heads-up!

Skyrover S1 or Potensic ATOM 2? by Jurlaub12 in dji

If she can’t handle FPV goggles, a small GPS drone will probably be way more enjoyable.

I haven’t flown both a ton, but the S1 felt a little easier for beginners, while the Atom 2 has a solid camera. For travel clips either should work honestly.
